Niamh J. O’Donnell is a Welsh/Australian artist from Aberystwyth and composition graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. Inspired by literature, artwork and moving picture, she creates notational and electronic compositions for the concert hall, film, stage and immersive audio installation. Niamh’s music has been performed widely at venues and events including BBC Hoddinott Hall, Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Cymru, Tramshed Tech, SHIFT, Stiwdio Pontio, St David's Hall, the Hallé St Peters, the Prince Charles Cinema and the Glasgow Film Theatre.

Red Ribbon project

This is a multidisciplinary project that intertwines music, visual art, and community involvement. It forges links among diverse viewpoints and artistic expressions. Emphasising on HIV, the art exhibit blends past and present, delving into history and stigma via portraits. Guided discussions by expert panels centre on this theme. Specially commissioned music echoes the significance of tragedy within the Queer community.
